Introducing the new Qwilr

Guy Hall|Updated Sep 28, 2026

Over the past 12+ years, Qwilr has powered millions of proposals and we’ve helped teams win tens of billions of dollars.

Today, we’re announcing a change in what’s possible with Qwilr.

Since our beginnings, our mission has always been to help teams to create beautiful, interactive proposals that set them apart from the competition.

Interactivity has always been a core part of Qwilr, and proposals with interactive elements closed up to 2x higher than those without.

Creating interactive, deal-winning proposals remains central to our mission at Qwilr but, now, we’re taking this a step further.

The landscape of proposals today

These days, there’s a temptation to let reps spin up proposals using their favorite AI tool.

And we get why! With the help of AI, you can create collateral that looks pretty compelling without much effort.

But there are a few problems with this approach, particularly for larger teams.

Firstly, there’s the errors.

We’ve heard stories that would make a CRO’s skin crawl: fabricated case studies, hallucinated contract clauses and pricing that was pulled completely out of thin air.

Not only can this be embarrassing, it can cause real legal issues.

Then there’s the problem of consistency.

Proposals look different from one rep to another, break brand guidelines and contain messaging that veers off-script.

Reps are going rogue like never before and it’s a nightmare for sales leaders.

They’re left feeling like they’ve got to pick: speed or quality.

We’ve built Qwilr in a way that eliminates this trade-off.

AI where it excels, rules where it matters

The idea behind this new iteration of Qwilr is simple: help sales teams create deal-winning, error-free proposals, consistently and with ease.

Which is where our new AI-powered Smart Proposal Engine comes in, enabling you create personalized, world-class proposals without spending days doing so.

Our philosophy is that modern sales teams need the best of both worlds: the speed and smarts of AI, plus rules that keep every deal consistent.

The Smart Proposal Engine gives you the power of AI in a controlled environment, rather than letting it run riot.

Deal information is pulled straight from your CRM and AI is used for what it’s good at.

For example, you can ask it to scrape through your sales call transcripts, pull out relevant deal details and use them to write a highly tailored executive summary.

You can also can use it in combination with conditional logic to dynamically adapt your proposal templates to each specific buyer.

It can scan your meeting notes, determine your buyer’s pain points and use this info to surface the relevant content.

When it comes to the stuff that matters, like pricing and contracts, you can decide that AI can’t touch this.

So there’s no need to worry about fictionalised discounts or contract clauses that you’d never agree to.

And, because you’ve got full control over the process, your sales rules stay intact.

Leaders define which data sources reps can connect, where AI can be used and what content changes based on the specifics of the deal.

Sellers easily create outstanding proposals. Leaders rest assured that their team is following a consistent process that minimizes errors.

Meeting you where you work

The Smart Proposal Engine is just one of many new features that we’ve dropped over the last few months.

Increasingly, sales teams are spending their time working in AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT.

To make working in Qwilr as easy as possible, we’ve built the Qwilr MCP, letting you connect Qwilr to your AI tool of choice.

You’re able to create proposals from your templates, to understand how your proposals are performing, organize your account, and more.

Using Qwilr with these AI agents lets you connect with other tools, helping your team work more effectively.

For example, you can set up a Slack notification that arrives on Monday morning, telling you which of your proposals are gaining traction, and who you should follow up with.

Again, AI isn’t in control but you’re able to get the best out of it.

Smarter quotes, more integrations, clearer insights

Our team has been hard at work making Qwilr as powerful for as many teams as possible.

To call out some more highlights:

  • We’ve rebuilt quoting, giving you more control over layouts, taxes, discounts and design.
  • Our new Microsoft Dynamics integration lets folks using Dynamics pull their CRM data straight into Qwilr and the Smart Proposal Engine to effortlessly create accurate, personalized proposals.
  • You can now export your Qwilr account data (like proposal acceptance, buyer engagement and viewership, etc.) giving you a clearer picture of how your proposals are performing at an account level
  • You’re able to create and edit images with AI right inside Qwilr. Describe the image you want and pick a style to generate it.
  • We’re released Automations for Zoho, letting you automate your admin by triggering Zoho Workflow Rules from Qwilr events: like when a page is set live, viewed, accepted, declined, and expired
