Is Qwilr or Conga better for your sales team?
Qwilr is the better fit for sales teams that run deals through their CRM and want buyers to sign and pay on the proposal itself. Conga is the better fit when quoting needs CPQ configuration rules or legal needs contract lifecycle management.

How Qwilr handles proposals differently from Conga Composer
Reps can change a proposal themselves
In Qwilr, templates and saved sections cover the parts that rarely change, and Salesforce fills in the account details. Reps edit the rest on the page, the same way they would a doc, without waiting on a Salesforce admin.
Explore the editorAI across the whole proposal
AI runs through Qwilr rather than sitting in one feature. Turn an existing PDF proposal into a Qwilr page, generate images in the editor, or connect Qwilr to Claude or ChatGPT through the Qwilr MCP. With the Smart Proposal Engine, AI pulls details from call transcripts and meeting notes into a proposal that follows the rules your team sets. Some AI features depend on your plan. Buyers get one link
A Qwilr proposal puts scope, pricing and terms on a single page. Buyers can tick optional items, change quantities and sign. If you use QwilrPay, they can pay a deposit or the full amount before they close the tab.
Explore interactive quotesYou can see what's been read
Qwilr tells you when a buyer opens the proposal, how long they spend on each section and when they come back. A second look at pricing is a good time to call, though it doesn't mean they'll sign.

Questions teams ask when comparing Qwilr and Conga
For proposals and quotes, yes. Instead of a PDF or Word file, buyers get one web page where they can review the proposal, choose options, sign with Qwilr e-signatures and pay. For proposals, that replaces Conga Composer and Conga Sign with one tool.
Yes, with a different result. Conga Composer merges Salesforce data into a file, such as a PDF or Word document. Qwilr builds a web page from Opportunity, Account, Contact or Lead records, pulls in products from your Price Books and, on plans with the Salesforce integration, updates the opportunity when a buyer views or accepts. Only if your quotes depend on configuration rules, bundles and approval chains across a large catalogue. Qwilr quotes handle line items, optional extras and adjustable quantities, and buyers sign and pay on the same page. If you do need those rules, you can keep your CPQ and send the proposal from Qwilr.
Qwilr connects to Conga through Salesforce rather than directly. When a buyer accepts a Qwilr proposal, a Salesforce automation can update the opportunity, and a Salesforce flow can start a Conga contract or order form from there. That lets you move proposals to Qwilr without changing how legal or finance work.
G2 reviewers report about a month to implement Qwilr, compared with about three months for Conga Composer. You don't have to rebuild everything: the AI document uploader turns an existing PDF proposal into a Qwilr page you can edit and save as a template, or Qwilr's design team can convert your current documents for you as a paid service. Start with the proposals your team sends most. Our getting started guide covers setup.
Qwilr lists its plans on the pricing page, and you can start with a free trial. Conga doesn't publish its prices, so you'll need a quote. When you compare, include the plan you'd need for the Salesforce integration, plus any separate e-signature or billing products on the Conga side.
