Our Process

What to expect working with us.

Our process aims to first understand what the viewer needs to hear/see in order to want to take action. It's one thing to communicate what we think is important, but it is really the viewer that matters. We then pair this understanding with our artistic talent in communication and video to create a powerful video that makes a difference.

1. Kick-Off Meeting

90 Minute Meeting to understand your business, your goals, and to organize the initial details of the project. 


2. Research & Creative 

We first start by asking questions. Lots of them. Why do customers choose you? Why don't prospects choose you? Why do people leave your company? Why do people come to work for your company? and so on. We conduct interviews with leaders, customers, employees in order to gain a strong, research-driven understanding of what makes this company successful/unsuccessful. We use this understanding to drive the entire project.


3. Pre-Production

We take our creative brief and create a logistical game plan to implement it. We map out the necessary equipment, shooting days, editing days, and put down a schedule, and get moving.


4. Production

Lights, camera, action; this is the fun part. We come out to you with our state-of-the-art cameras, lights, audio equipment, drones, and more to capture all the puzzle pieces we need to piece together the perfect story as mapped out in our creative brief. We make sure the day goes smooth by having an agenda and communicating everything well in advance.


5. Post-Production / Editing

This is where we really shine. After getting the shots we cut them up and bring it all together. When music, graphics, animation, and live-video all come together it's magical. In the end, we'll have an amazing video that's ready to hit the market.


6. Presentation & Revisions

We present our work and work back and forth until its perfect.


7. Launch & Market

We get you the final files and help you get them up unto all the channels we choose. We then sit down with you and help you game plan on how to get the most out of your investment. We lay out specific strategies for marketing and action items to make sure this video is seen and accomplishes the goals we set out to accomplish.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Quote

The terms of this Quote are effective for 60 days after presentation to Client. Upon acceptance, this will constitute an Agreement between Clum Creative Media and Client. In the event this Agreement is not executed by Client within the time identified, the Quote, together with any related terms and conditions and/or deliverables, may be subject to amendment, change, or substitution.

Expenses

Out of pocket expenses, such as travel, stock media purchase, equipment rental, template media purchases, voiceover, time averages, delivery, shipping, printing, stock photography, digital retouching, and presentation materials are not included and would be quoted separately. Applicable Ohio sales tax (if necessary) is not included in a cost estimate.

Timing

All suggested milestone dates and timeframes should be recognized as targets and are subject to change based on schedule availability of participants and timely review and approval of deliverables. For the project to officially commence, the final project quote must be signed.

Invoices

Invoices are payable upon receipt or 30 days of receipt. Author’s Alterations (see below) will be invoiced separately.

Financing

All projects above are invoiced two times; 50% upon signing, and 50% upon completion.

Author’s Alterations

Client shall pay additional charges for changes or additional steps requested by Client which are not described
by the scope in the official Quote. Charges will be in addition to all other amounts payable under the Quote, despite any maximum budget, contract price, or final price identified therein. Clum Creative Media will quote author’s alterations before beginning work. Author’s alterations requested by the client may extend or modify the final delivery schedule.

Client Responsibilities

Client is responsible for performing the following:
(a) coordination of any decision-making with parties other than Clum Creative Media
(b) submittal of Client content in a form suitable for reproduction or incorporation into deliverables
(c) final proofreading and, in the event that Client has approved deliverables, but errors...such as by way of example, but not limitation, typographic errors, omissions, or misspellings...remain in the finished product, Client shall incur the cost of correcting such errors.

Revisions

Client is allowed two full rounds of emailed revision requests per project. Any additional changes will be pre-quoted and billed per hour at $100 per hour. These two rounds excludes any revisions due to Clum Creative's editing error (misspelling, missed request, etc) 

Rights and Ownership

Upon completion of services, and expressly subject to full payment of all fees, costs, and expenses due, Clum Creative Media hereby assigns to Client all right and title in and to the final art. Client guarantees that all materials supplied to Clum Creative Media are owned by Client or that Client has all necessary rights in such materials to permit Clum Creative Media to use them for the project. Client shall indemnify, defend, and hold Clum Creative Media and its designers harmless from and against any claim, suit, damages and expense, including attorney’s fees, arising from or out of any claim by any party whose rights have been or are being violated or infringed upon with respect to any materials provided by Client.

Release of the Art Files

Upon payment of the final invoice Clum Creative Media will promptly release the finished art files.

Promotions

Clum Creative Media retains the right to reproduce, publish, and display the deliverables in Clum Media’s portfolios, websites, galleries, communications and any design periodicals or other media or exhibits for the purposes of recognition of creative excellence or professional advancement, and to be credited with authorship of the deliverables in connection with such uses.
