NEW: Automate Salesforce Tasks with Qwilr

Guy Hall|Updated May 26, 2025

Manual work – like updating opportunity stages, entering data and sending personalized follow-ups – isn’t just time consuming; it often leads to costly, human errors.

And sales teams worldwide hate doing these tasks just as much as their managers hate following up to ensure they’re done.

That’s why we’re excited to announce our new Salesforce Automations, available now in Qwilr.

What’s new

You can now automatically trigger CRM updates, and fill standard and custom fields in your Opportunities with information based on what’s happening in Qwilr pages.

Changes, like whether a page is Accepted or Declined, will not only be automatically reflected in your Opportunities, but can be used as the trigger for your complex workflows using Salesforce Flows.

And simple actions, like updating line items in Salesforce after a page is accepted, are just the beginning.

We’ll also have page information like status, expiry date, paid status and page links available for the first time, and these can be used to populate standard and custom fields on your Opportunities.

By combining our new automations with the power of Flows, you can transform your unique proposal processes into a seamless, hands-off experience for your team.

Endless possibilities

There’s so much that you can do with this latest update that we simply can’t list all of your automation options below, but here’s a little look at what some of our customers will be doing…

Triggering email sequences

You can now sync your pipeline statuses to the statuses of your Qwilr pages, and use this to send personalized emails.

For example, you can establish a Flow that automatically sends an email from Salesforce, using the Qwilr page link, when a page is created.

You can then follow up with a reminder 7 days before the expiry date, and once accepted, send an onboarding email to your client with no manual intervention.

You can even do things like send specific emails depending on whether or not the customer has paid via QwilrPay, partially paid or not paid at all.

With these new personalized touchpoints, you can rest assured knowing that your team doesn't need to worry about manual intervention, and that you’ll be giving your customers a fantastic experience at each stage of their journey.

Syncing opportunity line items

For some organizations, keeping Salesforce up to date with the actual deal size and customer’s end selection can prove difficult.

At the start of a sales cycle, reps will update the CRM with a projected deal amount and pull in relevant line items, and this figure can quickly become out of date as the conversation progresses.

Once a page is accepted, your buyer’s choice of quantities, optional extras and other line item customization can now be synced directly back to Salesforce.

No more relying on reps to update these numbers, it will always be accurately pulled in – directly from your Qwilr page.

Setting tasks for reps

Connecting Qwilr’s Automations and Salesforce Flows also allows you to ensure that reps stay on top of their outreach and prevent deals from slipping away.

You can, for example, use the expiry date of your Qwilr page to set a task for your team – reminding them to reach out to their buyer before the proposal is no longer valid.

With these task-creation triggers, you can make sure that all of your reps are following the same, repeatable processes.

Scratching the surface

And this is just the tip of the iceberg!
